Musicals - Wicked
So Casey and I went to see Wicked yesterday afternoon. We chose to see Rent while we were in New York, so we didn't see it then, but it's playing in Portland right now. A lot of the travelling cast is the original cast, including the two main characters.
It was reall really good. First of all, the story is fun...the Wizard of Oz more from the Wicked Witch's perspective. It also is quite the commentary on history being defined by the winners. I won't say any more about that. The songs, also great. I wish I could see it again, but it's expensive and sold out.
