askdhenfliuahrf uerhgulykhgluir!!! That was just. UGH. little!Allen and pre-adolescence!Kanda were just... UGH! I somehow can see them like that. Especially Kanda. Oh Kanda and his resurrection theory. And his hope that he and Leverrier had hated each other, they were just both hilarious and... I dunno. made my heart clench for Kanda.

And and... my fave lines:

And there was nothing, nothing Allen could do except put down the groceries and sit close and think completely useless things like, I have plenty of air, Mana. Take mine. <--This was just UGH!

If everyone kept track of every word spoken, then Kanda wouldn’t speak unless he absolutely had to. If they wanted to torture the shit out of Lenalee, he’d hide her. If they wanted him to live forever, he’d kill himself off deliberately. If they wanted him to forget his past, he’d hold on to the broken pieces of it with everything he was. <-- I can totally see Kanda like that.

...because a polite lie must be answered with a polite lie <-- so TRUE.

AAAND the last part, about how Kanda saw Allen was just pure WIN! How ta first he thought Allen was just like Alma, and then by the next day he didn't know what to think anymore.

You did well on describing how Kanda and Allen so spectacularly FAIL to get along. lovelovelove <3

XD I'm really happy you liked it! It was one of those stories--I knew what I was trying to do, but I wasn't at all sure that I'd succeeded in doing it. Apparently yes! Yay!

Yes, you certainly have succeeded! It was so spot on, their characterizations and interactions and the reason behind their failure at getting along. Seriously, after reading this, it's become CANON in my head (unless Hoshino suddenly decided to put in her own version of these details XD)

And yes, Kanda's backstory sure gives a lot of sense to a lot of things. Suddenly, Kanda makes sense. And also his relationship with Allen that "has always been like that" made a lot of sense too XDD

Kanda suddenly has infinite potential, there may have to be more Kanda fic in the future. Because--reinterpretation of everything he's ever done, good times. ^_^
