Or at least, they seem underloved. Then again, I think Kekkaishi gets a lot of love (right?), but pretty much no fandom. So maybe everybody already loves these and I haven't noticed.

(It's secretly just an excuse to babble about them anyway.) :D

Every single thing I learn about Japan makes it seem more fantastically wtf.

So in the case of both censorship and gambling for money, it sounds like the point isn't what's really happening; the point is what APPEARS to be happening. Yes? So long as it looks good, it's okay.

Looks good for whose benefit, though? o_O

Thank you for telling me about the gambling. That is my happy thought for the day, possibly for life. And it makes me want to go back to Japan and gamble so as to have a random prize to remember it by. :D

You don't like the Korean art style? I...I kind of love it. It's got these nice, clean lines. It is different, though. Maybe you'll get used to it. I often get to like art styles I initially hated if I like the story enough.

...Then again, maybe not. :) Worth a try!

But you'll have to tell me what you think of Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service. :D It's a lot of fun. Strangely.

(You are so brave. 9 volumes of MPD Psycho. WOW. I keep meaning to pick it up again, but...yikes.)

Soul Eater: I'M THERE.

I actually started reading it because of that Gangan cover that had Ed and Maka on the front, and was hilarious. The best thing about it must be the way all the meister/weapon pairs really work. Somehow. Each in their own strange, strange way.

So "complete at two volumes" is what it takes, huh? Let's see. Kanna is complete at four. Um. Clover is complete...or maybe "abandoned" is more the word...at four.

I read a lot of long series. But hey, HOLIDAYS! You'll have lots of time in between cookie bakings! Right? Of course right.

Black Sun Silver Moon is complete at 7 (I think) and it cute and awesome. Vampire dogs and gender confused warriors who all loved a slightly possessed priest. How can you go wrong :)

Someday you will rec something I haven't already read (and loved) and then it will be awesome!

You haven't read Until Death Do Us Part, have you? And of course the problem with you is, if I read something good, I instantly try to bully you into reading it. By the time it makes it here, you've already heard all about it.

Kurosagi! Is it not made of awesome and win? :D I just bullied a friend into reading it and am being reminded of why I loved it so much. OH, SASAYAMA. God. I had to go and read more of MPD Psycho when I realized Sasayama crossed over. (argh strange nightmares). *happy sigh* Maybe I'll reread Kurosagi now. For the hilarity. For the weirdness. For Kere Ellis. YAY.
