Just read this story through and it's brilliant! Spot on characterization and I love how Justin struggles between being a mature, responsible father and a (sometimes) bratty, in love teenager.

I was kind of hoping Brian would still know that Justin had coerced Kip into dropping the law suit, but at least Vic seemed to know. You've gotta love Vic. Especially in this story. And I love that Brian stuck around after taking care of Justin and Luke, waiting for Deb and Vic to get home.

Hopefully this incident will jolt Mikey out of his little snit (*sigh* he really needs to get over himself). Can't wait to see what you write next :).

Thank you! I'm pleased to hear that you found it and are enjoying it so far. Justin is a bit more mature in this 'verse than he was in canon, but he's definitely still got a lot to learn.

I think Vic is a really great character that a lot of people don't always remember. He's quiet and pretty passive, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be present. And yes, Brian taking care of Justin--it was great to write him as something other than sex-driven, for once. Seriously.

Only two chapters left, now, and one of them's the epilogue. Makes me sad... Anyway, thanks for reading!

Brian helping with Luke was a nice touch. I like this grittier, tougher Justin -he's actually got "a pair." Hobbs has got to be punished... seriously!

Already hankering for your next update. Such a good fic.

I loved writing that scene where Brian helps out--so nice, after fifteen chapters of him being a sex-driven asshole. *g*

Justin is a lot tougher at this point than he was in canon, a lot more independent, and I love that as well. His romantic, naive side always made me cringe a bit, in canon.

Only two updates left! *sigh*

I was thrilled to find and read your fabulous new chapter!!! I have to say that I always loved Vic and I really adore him in your story. Also, totally sweet of Brian to help Justin out with Luke instead of going to Babylon alone (I would have loved to see him changing Luke's poopy diapers LOL) and he so deserves a couple or more blowjobs for that! I wonder if/how he'll find out that Justin still helped him with Kip? And I really don't want this story to end *sighs* Thank you so much and huge hugs, Rena :)))

I love Vic--I think he's a really great guy who gets forgotten sometimes, and bringing him out in this fic was a lot of fun.

Brian playing nursemaid was a relief to write, after fifteen chapters of him essentially not existing outside of sex. *eye roll* But that's our Brian...

Only one chapter left, and then the epilogue! Wow.

eek what! there's only 2 more chapters!??

This one was awesome! loved that Brian just right in there to help Justin take care of Luke!

I really wish Justin had reported the incident with Hobbs...I understand why he didn't, but I'm just thinking thinking that it would be good to establish the history of violence between them officially with the police in case certain future events happen and then Hobbs would hopefully be punished more severely.

I know! I can hardly believe it! And only one of them is a legitimate chapter--the other's just the epilogue.

I loved writing that scene with Brian helping out probably as much as you loved reading it. *g*

The problem with Justin deciding to do something about Hobbs is that it would have made this fic go on for entirely too long, and would have made the climax... not the climax anymore. I do promise some more resolution on the Chris Hobbs front, though.

I love Brian being all grumpy and snarky but changing Luke's diaper and then taking care of him until Deb and Vic get home.

And I LOVE the message Justin leaves Brian to get him to come over at the end.

That's our Brian--bitching and moaning even when he's got his "heart of gold" going on. *g*

That last message went through a lot of variations before I settled on that one. It got progressively longer and kinkier with each go, until Justin was essentially having one-sided phone sex and that was just weird. So I... simplified!
