Ya know it's quite amazing how car dealers are acting right now. They are like starving mongrels fighting for scraps.
I put hte word out to the dealer network that I was looking for a black 4th generation Eclipse GT to replace the one that I lost in bankruptcy last year. I was really specific about what I want and I told them will be paying cash for it.

Sportronic transmission
Rockford Fosgate stereo
Moonroof
Leather would be nice
No more than 12,000 annual mileage on it.
No collision damage, period.
No involuntary repos (because it damages the computer) and the master RFID key would be missing/useless.
The dealers are practically falling over themselves in a mad rush to be the first to get a car to match this request. It's insane. Especially since I'm going to want to inspect any vehicle before I plunk down the cash for it...and I intend to deal hard (though they may not realize that).
They are getting quite desperate.
