africa
so this is crazy. i'm going to africa. kenya and tanzania (neighbouring countries) to be exact. one month in each. wow. the first two weeks will be spent in a place called athi river. it's 5 hours from nairobi, kenya by bus. i think. as far as we know there's no electricity and we'll hear lions roaring. i can't wait! we'll work with aids orphans, and play with children and put on dramas and tell people about Jesus. the next two weeks will be in nairobi in the slums of caberra. they're supposed to be really crazy. we're not sure what we're doing there yet. then i go to tanzania and spend a month there. we haven't gotten any information about what we do there yet either. i leave today, my flight goes out at 11 this evening, the 29th. i land in nairobi at about 2:30 in the afternoon on the 31st because of the whole time zones thing. it's weird. i'm so excited. the hardest part is that jocelyn (my girlfriend for those that didn't know) isn't coming with me to africa, but is already gone to india and nepal (just north of india). we'll be apart for 2 months, and we've been going out for 8. wow, 8 months already. i miss her already too. it's been, what, 6 hours? gosh. well, pray for me, i'm going to need it.
