it's all over...sigh.

camp k is officially over. and it is very sad.
i stayed through thursday of day camp...it was fun...after hours. no really, i was at the fort for monday and tuesday with jeeves, which was fun. then we got an aquatics director, which to find out i've known for a long time (thank you camp mack!) so yeah small world.
the last two weeks of camp, besides day camp, flew by. although it was tons of fun, i was kind of glad it was over. we had the luau and camp k prom, which both were okay, but weren't loads of fun. saturday night we had a staff banquet (catered by chick-fil-a! hells yeah!) and afterwords we had an afterprom which was SOOOO much more fun than the original prom. mainly because people actually danced.
i made closer ties with people this summer that i didn't think i would really ever be that close to. and i'm sad camp is over for that main reason. these people i won't see for a very long time...
went to a gaelic storm concert thursday night with jamie and my mother. kevin and tiger were also there. o my goodness, it was an amazing show! they started singing lumberjack by monty python and i immediately thought of hyde! but we got our picture taken with the hottest member of the band, and he's not even irish! lol he's canadian...oh well he can play the bagpipes!
i'm sitting at anderson university right now for my church's district conference. it's cool cause i've never been to au, it's a cute campus-but i love manchester so much more!
speaking of which...so i'm a SOL (orienation leader) and i'm with the same group as kacie gauby and michael kirby...it's gonna be AMAZING! omgod! i can't wait for it...minus the classes! lol.
after district conference ends this afternoon, i'm headed to camp mack with lacie where i'll be for 2 weeks. i'm volunteering, mainly because i don't want to be home. and i'm hoping that since i'll be at camp, minus the nights i leave camp, i won't spend that much money, cause i really don't have the money to spend right now...because of books in about a month! dumb school.
oh well, but hey i gotta get back to doing nothing here at AU...i'll ttyl!
