(no subject)
hey!
just thought I’d do a quick one.
spring break was a week or so ago-i went to purdue for the week and stayed at kelley and jamie’s it was a blast. i miss them uber amounts.
saw tiger and stephanie and heather hostetler! and duck!
not a whole lot has happened, well, i guess you could say that. paul and i broke up-my choice, but still. everything’s good, no one hates me, or if they do-they aren’t acting like it. so everything i was worried about didn’t happen, which is always nice :-)
my friend david here at mc may work at camp this summer, which i’m actually kind of excited about. he seems like he’d be a great staffer...
this past saturday night there was a mutual kumquat concert, in celebration of their new album, which is amazing btw. one of their songs is my current profile song, if you aren’t a peaceloving bohemian earth child, or at least a pacifist, you won’t enjoy the song...
only a few weeks left of my first year of college, it’s crazy! i love it here...i don’t want the year to be over! zach and david will both be gone, and i’ll be sad :-/ what will i do without my gay boyfriend???
i did get my photography job at camp, don’t know if i said that. im pretty stoke about it. i’m getting a new camera, well new to me. it’ll be refurbished, but hey-it’s still decent!! whenever the check from my financial aid account gets into the bank i’ll get it!! ah!!!!
i interviewed for another small job on campus on friday, don’t worry i’ll still have my awesome job of band manager, but this one is m-f from 12-1 sitting at the desk in admissions while the regular person has lunch. i’m kind of excited about it. lol.
so i’m most likely going to pick up a minor. it’ll be an art minor, but i’m going to kill myself basically the next couple years, and probably have to go atleast another semester. i’m kind of irritated with myself, because both last semester and this semester i could have taken at least one more class and have been fine. i started off this semester at 16, but i dropped a class, kicking me down to 13-which means i could’ve had another class...booo! instead every semester except for two i’ll have at least 18, without paying extra. the other two, i’ll have 16...stupid four hour courses screws up everything...booooo! o well, it’ll be worth it in the end. i’ll have a double major with communications and peace and have a minor in art-how many people have that combination? lol. but yeah i’m excited about it :-)
i think i’m gonna go for now.
things are going pretty good overall, i’m pretty happy, which is more than i could ask for. it seems like my family is getting back on the righ track as far as the financial issue. we have to be a little bit more conservative with our money, but i think everything will be okay :-)
