my summer
i have been gone for far too long from the eljay community. however, i have returned--with pictures!
warning: pictures can be quite monotonous, but to me, they're special, so i put every single one on here.
fyi:
*passport= summer camp in monroe, north carolina with 300 teenagers, including my youth group. I worked for Habitat for Humanity of Union County while I was at camp, so that's what the pictures are all about. Shoveling gravel, pressure washing/painting/organizing the Habitat warehouse, and moving boulders were just a few of our tasks. most of the people in the pictures are people i met at camp.
*perry county= trip to marion, alabama with the high schoolers in my youth group to put on a week-long kids' camp offering field games, basketball, tennis, drama, art, computer, and music to interested kids. i worked in art.

both were great trips. i've filled the gaps between these events with working at the day care at my church, soaking up some final weeks with friends and youth group, and (sort of) preparing for college.
i move in august 14...and i go to the beach August 7-11, so my days in Vestavia are numbered. I hope all is well with everyone out there i haven't talked to in so long. say hello to me! let me know how you are!
