In Durban
We've been on holiday the last couple of weeks -- not much opportunity to read or write on LJ or our other blogs, for lack of internet access. We're now in a hotel in Durban which claimed to be a WiFi hotspot, but today is the first time we've managed to connect after two days of trying. Usually it says the signal is weak or non-existent.
We spent a week in Pietermaritzburg, a week in Margate and are now in Durban. We've been trying to look up old friends, but most are either inaccessible or too busy. We've just spent the afternoon watching the South Africa -- Australia rugby match on the TV in a hotel room, and South Africa won 53-8, which makes a nice change from the dismal performance of our cricket team.
