I haven't posted much in LJ recently.

I get tired of waiting for "Gateway timeout" messages, and then finding that whatever I've posted in response to friends' posts or whatever has been lost.

So I find it easier to post on my other blog, Notes from underground. It's generally a bit more polemical and provocative than this one, though ( Read more... )

Actually sounds like a problem at your service provider. Or if not, on some server or DNS that you have to go through to get to LJ. No matter what, it is unfortunate.

I'll check out your other blog. Polemical and provocative sounds great.

Actually I think it may have to do with the LJ menus.

They have changed recently, the timeouts seem to be mostly on the "View my journal option"

Sorry that you are cut off - wherever the problem is located. I was thinking of you because I noticed that there is a new Phil Rickman book out in the series about the Anglican woman exorcist.
