As I said, I haven't watched all of it. I don't find the arguments in the bits I have seen altogether convincing. Expecially the "controlled demolition" theory.
At the time I was watching it, I thought that the aircraft had not done all that much damage to the building, and the fire did not seem to be very fierce. No flames to be seen, just black smoke coming out of broken windows.
The film made the argument that there had been fires in other buildings, and they had not collapsed, therefore these should not have collapsed. But the other buildings had not suffered damage from impact with aircraft, which would have weakened the structure. In the case where an aircraft had hit the building, it was a smaller aircraft and a stronger building. Or at least a building with a stronger shell -- concrete is harder to penetrate than than glass windows and aluminium cladding. The difference could be explained by different construction methods.
And the fire would not have to be hot enough to melt steel, simply to weaken it.
Why did the building hit second collapse first? Simply because it was hit lower down, and so there was more weight above the damaged section.
What I thought at the time of seeing it, before there were any theories, when it was unexpected, was that the combination of the impact and fire had caused the supporting structure on the floor with most damage to collapse; the shock of the collapse caused the floor below to collapse, and so on, right down to the bottom. One sees similar damage to multistorey buildings in severe earthquakes.
But the fact that most of the pictures were not shown again after the first day or two meant that one could not check, and that made it look like a coverup. Also, it only transpired much later that a third building had collapsed, and it seems there is no convincing explanation for that.
So while I'm not convinced by the answers the film gives, it raises other questions that do make it seem more likely that something is being covered up. Why were the flight recorders on the planes apparently never recovered?
