Another day under Lockdown

Jul 29, 2021 16:25

Up at 4:02. I did a little more family history, then we went to Makro to try to get a new ink cartridge for our Brother printer, because I knew they stocked them there, and did not at the Computer Mania shop in The Grove where we had bought it, They had changed
the offramp from the N4, and when we got off we founbd we could not turn right for Makro, but had to go left, and drover about 3 km
before finding a place to turn. When we got to Makro we went in about bought the printer cartridge, now R800, whereas it had been
R500 when we had bought the printer.

We came back post the Alkantrant library to see if it was open again now that the lockdown had moved back to Level 3, and it was, so we changed our books, though I took out a couple I had taken out before.

When we got home I put the last announcement of free review copies of The Enchanted Grove on Smashwords, and tried to draw the
attention of some people from the children's literature department at Newcastle University to it, since the Glasgow ones didn't seem
to be interested in reading it. I thought if I could get an evaluation from some of the experts in the fireld of children's literature then I'd at least know whether it was worthwhile continuing to write the stuff.
