Charli and i arrived a day early, much to our disbelief. we were both under the impression that it opened tuesday. but, there were a bunch of other people around, so we slept in the car and it was all peachy.
wednesday we ran into Isaac [thesquirrel, tho he hardly ever posts] while waiting in line, and remarkably were able to access the campgrounds early. that night we met up with some "friends," the highfive boys from last year, and we all went to the ff56 show. freaking awesome. hung out with people, ran into Amber, and slept in her van.
thuirsday was ff56 in the underground tent. went with Brock and Cole and Amanda. met up with Fifi and her friend, whose name i am failing to remember currently. Brock got his nose broken in the pit, and was gushing blood everywhere. i pulled him out and cleaned him up a bit with the hem of my shirt. because of this, we've decided that i'm his mother.
friday was a day of awesome shows- officer negitive, the havoc, the deal, and headnoise. sadly, i missed calibretto, which i'm pissed at myself for. that means that i've got to see them on their farewell tour.
-add moment, Mom's home a bit earlier than expected.-
Charli and i played in the rain a bit, and that was fun.
saturday i don't really remember much except that the night was spent with camp kickapuppy and Cole, Brock, and Amanda. poot. Cole and i crashed on the underground stage. and then again in chairs by his campsite. which leads us to sunday.
sunday the only show i was interested in was Headnoise's aucoustic set. and i got to talk to Edie, and she was awesome as usual. so sweet and softspoken and humble. [case of heroworship? me? never!]
so sunday was spent with Charli, because we'd barely been able to hang out all week. we hung out at the euker guys' tent most of the night, then scavenged the merch tents when we got bored of that. we got some pretty cool stuff, and then we went to bed. woke up at about 10:30, finished packing and headed home.
so now i am feeling pretty emo about cornerstone. kinda like i've been dumped. it's not cool.
but i think it's time for bed now. at least, in the near future, anyway.
