(no subject)
I saw the new Shakira video, "La tortura". I wasn't exactly thrilled with it. I saw a clip of it at first and it was her dancing with black paint all over her, think Christina Millian in "Dip it Low". Anyways, I watched the whole thing and wasn't really impressed by it all. Some parts were hot, but others I could've done without. She was doing these movements with her chest, but it seemed like she was trying to hard. She would do these movements and then look up to the camera in almost a "come on look at me, look at my chest" sort of way. I didn't really like the song much either, although I would like to hear it again before I really judge it because I was more focused on the video than anything. It wasn't because it was in spanish or anything because I've liked so many of her spanish songs. It just didn't seem like there was anything special about this one. I do have to give her credit though for getting a spanish video premiered on TRL. I think it's pretty impressive. Her spanish version of "whenever, wherever" ("suerte") was the first video completely in spanish to be played in regular rotation on MTV. I'm not sure why, but her english language album isn't coming out til later...as in 7 or 8 months later. It's called Oral Fixation. I'm kinda wondering what the story is behind that. Oh Shakira.
Anyways, I'm done with this semester now. I took my last test yesterday. I already signed up for a summer class. It doesn't start til July 6th so I can still have a little break. I completly forgot to take my books back and I have to do it soon because the longer I wait, the less I get back. I'm planning on taking Christina with me so she can see my school:)
In other news, I finally finished taking pics with my black and white disposable camera. I've had that thing for months. I think I bought it in February. I have too many errands to run so I must go.
*edit* I almost forgot, I slammed my thumb in my car door. I don't even know how that really happened, but it did and I can barely touch it. It sucks because I have to work today and it's only gonna make it worse :( Eh, well I will have a reason to slack off so yay for that.
