Okay, the last part of this 1954 movie didn't bore me as much as it did the first 1 1/2 hour :D. In fact, I pretty much liked it. It really stands for "what one man can do" thing, and I just love that. One man defying the system :D, I guess that's me, too, of course, less flashy. :p I find it odd that the film was criticized because of apparent "communist" hands behind it. Still, it won 8 Academy Awards.
All in all, I got what I wanted, a good definition of Eddie Doyle's character, plus I got a nice surprise by the end when the plot thickened.
I still find there was something odd with Marlon Brando's eyes, but that's just me.
