Since I'm so consistent with my obsessions, I decided to watch the "On the Waterfront" movie. Why? Well, because in the lyrics of a song by Tori Amos named "Rattlesnakes", there's a line that says "she looks like Eve Marie Saint in On The Waterfront." After doing a little research on the net, I found out "On the Waterfront" was a 1954 movie and Eva Marie Saint won an Academy Award because of it.
Yeah, it's a long shot, but still I wanted to know that it was "to look like Eve Marie Saint" in that movie.
Well, the movie has Marlon Brand in it acting all macho, spitting and stuff. And it has a death, gangsters, extra long dialogues and soundly snores (these last ones are mine). I'm still half an hour away from the end and I'll finish it at home, but WHAT-A-BORE!
All in all, I got an idea of who this Eva Marie Saint's character is. She's nice, though. I'm even basing a character of mine in her.
Still, I have a hard time thinking my grandparents had a great time watching that movie. It is supposed to be a classic, isn't it? Oh, well. I need to watch more "Heroes" episodes to watch this aftertaste from my head ;).
