Can it be said that tornadoes suck? They do. They do, they do, they do. I now have no car. It was not yet my car, but now it never will be. At least no one was hurt. Plus, my mom has finally realized that I am not insane for insisting on having the fan going at night every night of the year. My room had been untouched by tornado damage (unlike her and Doug's), so they slept in my room. Apparently, "[my] bed is uncomfortably low and [they] can hear everything going on outside. It is so loud!" Yes, yes, I realized this eons ago. Thus the fan.
Also! I did something stupid, right when my senior paper is due. Of course I did. At least I have at least fifteen days lee-way. And my senior paper is being so stupid. My only consolation is that I have to do a measley 12-15 pages comparing dingo and wolf social interactions with an abstract, literature review, discussion, and bibliography. I could have to do what some of the other people in my grade are doing, and write a 45 page paper on whatever. Also? My J-term paper was longer than this senior paper. :D
Been working on my original story about a bookstore in Hell, and I have a bad feeling I'm going to have to make it shorter than I want to for this class. Which is really not good, since we're supposed to write 20-30 pages. This is double-spaced, which means I have even less to write than I would. I could probably pull it off if it was, say, single-spaced.
Uhura in a floofy gown keeps poking on my brain. I need to beat her down with a baseball bat or dictionary or something.
Also, also, guess what? My computer died about a year ago, right? Well, I finally managed to get it to my uncle and he had a look at it. It now lives, and I have two Dell computers. Seriously, what? And of course he put all sorts of awesome software on that one for me, so...*sigh* What to do with an extra laptop? I could always force Mom in the land of technology...As soon as her electricity returns.
