vrooom
so, it's been almost two weeks since i got out of school. i must admit, i do miss the apartment, miss watching tv with josh, miss yelling at alfred, miss telling mindy to wash her damn dishes, miss the neighbors and the spontaneous shit that goes on in the building. but hey life goes on, and it's not like we'll never see each other again, it's been a damn good year guys.
some of u might have already known, my dad crashed the corolla like...3 weeks ago? yea, check it out, this is what it looked like when we last saw it:
it's not really that bad, just that the back got crushed, the car still functions and my dad walked away without a scratch. HOWEVER, it's declared totaled by the insurance company, cause the cost of repairing is more than the current cost of the car in the blue book. so long story short, we picked the option of letting the car go and getting about $4500 back, which has been contributed to paying for the new cars.
"new CARS?!" u ask? why yes, we got two. well my parents were gonna get me a car before the incident happen anyhow, since i'm gonna be moving down to sd in an offcampus apartment. and so, ladies and gentlemen i have finally aspired to the ranks of auto-owners. pedestrian jerry is DEAD. DEAD LIKE A ZOMBIE. yeaaaa wait that's not right, zombies are undeads! oh ho ho, silly me. well any how yea, i am now the proud owner of a nissan sentra se-r, thank you very much. on top of that, we also bought a mazda6 but that goes to mom, and dad gets her van instead. everything's wonderful and we are now broke as fuck. no, j/k, but we do have to cut down on the spending since getting a 2nd new car wasn't quit accounted for in the original budget.
moving onto summer- it's ben pretty boring actually, but that was expected. quite relaxing though, i must say. dave, dan and i went camping at kings canyon, but that's for another update...
