A day I'd like to remember

"Start at the beginning, and continue on until you have reached the end."

Starts with tuesday night/wednesday morning. Slept poorly, but was able to leverage it into taking pills early, and getting into work early. (the 8 am I'm supposed to be in by, not the 10 am that is the 'realistic' goal) At work, we've got 2 projects active... kinda. Kinda active, and kinda 2. For the first project we've been waiting on feedback to our design, and we get emails about wanting it before the client's due date of the 28th blah blah blah I reply that if we GET the feedback, we can have it done quickly...

And then we are told that they want the drawings tomorrow. Stamped and signed. The boss/the only engineer in the company that CAN legally stamp stuff is in Ghana, 8 time zones away.

So there's all this stress floating around, but it isn't until the end of the day that we get the feedback we need to fix our drawings, and are waiting on the boss's response to messages about getting the drawings signed.

Anyway. Lotta stress, little actual work. More work went into the other project... which is actually THREE projects that we want to have act like one project. Still, I got in a lot of time building typical wiring diagrams, made with an eye towards being 'reuseable' designs, made with good standards so we can use them again in other projects. ANYWAY, I'm enjoying this greatly, being a nice creative task with some freedom and clear goals.

Anyway. 8 hours at work, come home tired, join new guild for wednesday raiding! Raid one is the Naxx boss-o-the-week for the weekly quest, and when the group grew past 10 I was able to drag in Maya too. That went well, as most/all of us were somewhat overgeared.

Once that was out of the way, it was back to the guild people only for the Trial of the Crusader. Managed to defeat the first two encounters before comming up hard against the faction champs.

Was very fun, and I'm glad I found this guild
