Whew. Lots of week.

Ellie's show/birthday was beautiful and lots of fun. If you missed the show, the organizer at the yellow door seemed quite impressed, so keep your eyes peeled for another one.

Thanksgiving Monday was a big, crowded feast: one rottenfruit short of my ideal crowd, but a good gathering: kids running around, people I haven't seen in a while, incredible food (pumpkin cheesecake, samosas, and hot pepper jelly along with the more conventional turkey, ham, stuffing and root veggies). We managed to get in a smaller, night before thing with loupdebois, the newly-met Dominique, and my mom: squash, casserole, ice cream and Settlers of Catan: a good cozy pre-feast supper.

Had a test on Tuesday in Computational geometry, followed by tutoring in PHP that afternoon and yesterday... I've hacked PHP a little, but am getting to know a lot better by going over it with my student. Another useful skill finally getting honed because I had to explain it to someone else. That's how I jumped into Flash, too...

This weekend: a birthday incident, a goodbye party, and some miscellaneous geeking out: both gaming and more productive stuff.

family, school, food, geeky, work, holidays
