Basically, out of Concordia we run a one-on-one adult tutoring program (where you work with an adult learner to shore up areas they want to work on) and a reading/homework program with community centres. We work with neighbouring universities to put on reading tents in the summer, and with the national Frontier people to send out labourer-tutors to work alongside (usually migrant) resource and agriculture workers in the day and offer tutoring in the evenings. There's also space for organizer-y types to help keep everything from flying off in a zillion directions through interviewing, record-keeping, gatherings, community and university relations, etc.

It's a really fantastic organization... let me know if you want to attend an orientation, we're having one on the 15th during the day and another on the 19th in the evening.
