(no subject)
I am OFFICIALLY done with classes this semester. Had my linguistics discussion today and bam, done. Now I just need to get through exam week.
Today was a fun day. I went to Alexis-my-roommate's theatre showcase. It was an hour and a half of short scenes interspersed with monologues. It was surprisingly fun, possibly I have no ability to judge whether someone can act or not, and therefore I don't care about the quality so much.
Then I met up with Leah and Peter to go to a concert put on my a couple of the a cappella groups on campus. There were a few holiday songs, and a cover of King of Anything (which I will perpetually associate with Mike Lombardo because of this video since I saw it before I'd heard the original), and a nice mix of other songs. Leah came back to hang out with me and Alexis, and we ended up gossiping about the Fielarco boys for like three hours. :D
After Leah left, Alexis and I remembered how, a couple months ago, we joked about drinking every night for a week, just to be able to say we did. And we realized that we have exactly a week left in this semester.... So we each took a shot of rum. Disgusting. And then I beat Justin at Boggle. All in all, a good day.
