(no subject)
I am late, late, late today. That's what happens when I start writing my paper two hours before it's due at midnight. XD I had a 1-3 page paper for Educational Psychology on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and I would like to proudly state that I BS'd the hell out of that, with a solid one and a half pages of sounding like I know what I'm talking about. P.S. I don't. I need to stop taking psychology courses. It's not really the subject for me.
Unfortunately, part of why I didn't start my paper earlier was because I am so thoroughly addicted to Portal right now. Working on achieving some achievements. If I do decide that I need to acquire me some Portal 2, I should probably hold off 'til summer, like I am with Minecraft. Justin is trying to get me to play Team Fortress 2 with him. Might do that tomorrow night, so we'll see how that goes.
What else am I doing tomorrow? Why, lobbying, of course! Louis, one of the kids who lives down the hall from me, came in my room yesterday to talk us into going to Lobby Day, which means going to the state courthouse and, well, lobbying. In this case, for more state funding for public universities. Rose, in one of her fits of spontaneity, said, "okay!" so I followed with "uh, if Rose goes, I'll go?" So that's what we're doing all day tomorrow! Getting on a bus at 7:30 in the morning, going to rally for a couple hours, and then talking to whichever representatives we can get hold of. Which is slightly more than either Rose or I bargained for, but considering we thought we were basically going to be standing around for a few hours in exchange for free food and an excused absence from our classes, that's not entirely surprising.
It was hilarious watching Rose try to figure out what to wear. She only has her dresses, leggings, tunics, and scarves, which work for her normal hippie self, but not so much for the desired "biz-cas". Oh man, her face when I asked if she owns slacks. Alexis's and my combined powers managed to acquire clothing for her, fortunately.
Um... I'm gonna go sleep now. (And by sleep, I might mean play Portal. D:)
