Excrucior?

I'm feeling rather odd today. (And yes, I just know what comments that remark is prompting some pathetic uncreative little minds to ferment today, so I'll pre-empt you and tell you not to bother.) It's possibly due to the... family reunion, shall we say? After running around like a lunatic telling people what needed telling over the past few days, ( Read more... )

*amused, gives the Metatron a tentative hug*

You're chipper today. I like it.

*blinks, but hugs him back anyway*

Not quite the word I would have chosen, but it'll do.

And you?

*sighs* I've been better.

But you've actually managed to cheer me up. I'm impressed.

And grateful. Thank you.

Want to rant, or just drink? *cants his head*

I have? Stop the press. I'm sure it deserves a holiday or something... *grins*

You're more than welcome.

*wry* Believe it or not, I'm not much of a drinker. It helps that most forms of human-brewed alcohol aren't nearly as toxic to me as to them.

*sighs*

There's not much to tell. Well, there probably is. A few of my neighbors and ... imprints of a friend, I suppose... have been doing their damndest to help someone, within a certain forum. Another friend has also been trying, but outside of the forum in a place of her own power. Which would be all well and good, except that it seems to be interfering with what happens in-forum. And she refuses to set foot in-forum, but instead lurks on the edges and gives self-evident advice. And then matters hit a standstill.

And then while we were discussing the whole mess with several of the folk involved, I got impatient and said some tactless truths. And it's just been sulking and morosity from there.

... morosity. What an odd word.

Join the club. On the not-drinking.

Ah. Life as normal then? And moroseness, do you mean? *frowns, shrugs* I know what you mean anyway.

Frustrated, then?

Frustrated, tired, and I have no idea as to an equitable solution to all parties. Which still should not be my problem, but ... well, friends are involved.

No independant authority to call in?

Unfortunately, no. We're all alone on this one. The independant authorities are as stumped as we are.

Did you try bashing heads together, all apologising and agreeing to play nice?

Not yet. I'm working myself up to be able to apologize, so when the bashing and demanding of apologies occurs I'll be able to follow through.

*indulging in a brief whine* I don't know what she expected, though. I don't know why she's acting so shocked. I never claimed, and I will never claim to be a nice person. I am not a nice person. I have most often been called an evil person. What the hell was she expecting?

As long as you only apologise if you mean it.

*pats him on the shoulder* People are irrational. They don't follow logic of any sort. Even expecting them to is irrational. *grins* If you see.

*wry chuckle* I do. And I will. But every once in a while... *shakes head and sighs* Ah well. As many wise men have said.. in time, this too shall pass.

I know. Really,it's usually a case of 'physician, heal thyself' for me. Are we playing the cliche game now?

We could, I suppose. *grins* There's always a silver lining? Or the one about opening of doors and windows?
