Questions Part II

Thanks to _177

1. Do you prefer the company of humans or angels, and why? Depends which angels and which humans. Some of the host can be boring, incredibly so. Michael only harps on one note, as it were. And some humans are very, very interesting. And I admit I have a soft spot for them. But still, some of them can be irritating beyond belief. So it's a tie, really.

2. Do your ears hang low? ....Not unless I bend over I suppose.

3. What's your favorite colour, and why? Green. I like gardens and living, growing things.

4. If you hadn't been an angel, when would you have liked to have been born, and what would you do then? Tough question, but probably now. Sure there might be one of the world's biggest idiots in charge of one of it's biggest countries and firepowers, rampant vice and decay, but there's also so many good things. Like films. Or some of them. And even if the church is a waste of space (as it has been for most of its incarnations, I'm afraid) there are people out there who care. I'd like to be an artist of some form, but I doubt I have the talent. Possibly I could run a shelter of some sort?

5. Because no one asked you: why are you doing this, anyway? The questions? Because oldestbeloved and I were frustrated with the inanities this community posed us and how unapplicable the majority were to us. And because, yes, I'm talkative and curious.

Questions from bringerof_light

1. Who's your favourite person here? I don't do favourites. There's a few people I enjoy associating with.

2. If it had been your choice after the War what was to be done with myself and my followers, what would you have done? Took away your powers, sent you to a room and not let you come out until you could reason sensibly. Or just thwapped you over the head until you saw sense.

3. What's your favourite sin and why? Gluttony, because it's the least destructive of other people.

4. Do you ever think about that garden and wish you were still there just so I could touch you again? No. Quite frankly, I would rather suffer Michael telling me all about his flaming sword whilst the esser demons poked me with pitchforks. Not that that is ever going to happen. I'd only want that if you weren't who you are now...

5. Name a flower. Any flower. Forget-me-not.

Questions from code_smith

1 What are the specs of the network through which God communicates with you? I am very curious about the technical requirements of such an inter-dimensional network. He speaks, I listen, I come down here and repeat it. Sometimes I have to repeat it several times and at great length with stupid analogies and blow-by-blow definitions. And sometimes I have to give them a stiff drink too.

2. What's your favourite insult? Whatever is most fitting for the person I'm talking to.

3. If you could eat food for a day - what would be the first dish you try? I suppose I should say a breakfast thing.... a croissant? But I always wanted to try lemon meringue. Don't ask why.

4. If you could dress Lucifer up in any outfit, what would it be? A red gingham dress and bows. And shiny red patent shoes.

5. Ever consider going into the radio broadcasting business with that voice of yours? Not really. I have thought about going intothe world of film criticism on suggestion. I would probably be too rude and controversial to go on radio anyway.

Questions from jon_r_meyers

1. What is "heaven" like, if there is such a thing? Heaven as a place is more a... feeling. Contentment, satiety, peace, love, excitement, joy, giddiness... what it looks like varies from which part you go to.

2. What does God look like? I don't think you could get a photograph with his signature? Just kidding about the second question ;) God doesn't really look like anything. He just is and again, is more of a feeling, a presence. You might 'see' him as a burning, glowing entity perhaps, but that's isn't what He would 'look' like, just how he might appear to you. When He comes down to earth, he looks like any other person. Male and female.

3. Why tequilla? Why not good old Whiskey? Because tequila sounds nice, tastes nice, and is less messy to keep spitting. And because of habit.

4. What do you really think of humans? You amuse, frustrate, surprise, annoy, astonish, intrigue and confound. And I can't help but love all of you.

5. I've been pondering that for a while... you can breathe, obviously. Can you smoke? ...Add that to the list of inane questions. I technically can, and have. I'm not supposed to get drunk but there were never any explicit rules about other drugs. We tend not to take them though.

The usual applies. Seek and ye shall find etc etc.
