I'm endlessly grateful for your restraint, I'm sure.

That pic is so adorable. ^_^ metastable October 15 2008, 03:42:11 UTC
...You're welcome, although anyone who would take advantage of such a curse is reprehensible. Why a mouse, I wonder?

A common laboratory rat, actually. It's a less than pleasant bit of irony.

You're a scientist, then. It's unfortunate, though, that you're a prey animal, for while I won't eat you, there may be some who will.

How are you working a computer when you're so small?

Indeed. Dr. Franken Stein; a pleasure.

I suppose I'll just have to trust in the ability of others to control their baser instincts.

It's a little slow, but it might actually be easier for myself than those who find themselves significantly larger. At least I can hit individual keys.

It is a pleasure to meet you, Dr. Stein. What is your area of study? Biology, I would assume, but is your work mostly with mice?

Ah, yes. I suppose it would be hard for, say, a lion or a unicorn to type. I can peck, or poke it with a talon.

I study... whatever interests me, really. Observation and research; everything in the world has value for experimentation. Myself included, of course.

Indeed. Although I - and it seems certain other citizens - find my capacity for speech unhindered. It's rather interesting, unfortunately my ability to examine the phenomena is currently limited by obvious difficulties.

That is true. Actually, you should speak to Sasha Nein about studying the curses -- he's trying to compile a list and see if there are any connections or predictability. Perhaps you two could share information.

Sasha Nein?

I've only been here about a week myself, so I'd likely not have anything very constructive to add, but I'll be grateful for the information, I'm sure.

You may find him here: monochrome_mind.

Ah, you're a newcomer. Welcome to the City. More minds pondering the nature of the curses are always better -- since we're trapped here for the time being, we may as well try to investigate.

Have you been shown the guide, and so forth?

Thank you. Mm, they are rather interesting. I'll just hope to be of some assistance.

Yes, I have. It was illuminating. Some of my students are here as well, and they've been helpful.
