The curse is over. I for one decided to stay inside. Demon blood is an unpleasant thing to smell as is other blood, and so I spent my time in the bathtub.
Nicodemus has left the City, as I saw his image in the Hall of the Missing. I've heard many things about him, namely that he was evil and a demon, but he treated me well for whatever ends he

Out of curiousity, have you considered trying to repair your ship? The one that was nearly destroyed during the barrier attack?

How have you been faring, Sasha?
(ooc: the mods dictate it can't fly or have such a huge weapons loadout.)

...I've been faring about as well as I can be. Things are hectic, more so than usual. And yourself, Meta Knight?
((ooc: Understandable. Poor Halberd being unable to do much ^^;))

More hectic? Has something happened?
I've been well enough, although my job is now keeping me busy since the Warden came in and turned things on their ears. He's not a very charming man, despite his name, nor is he charismatic -- he's simply making everyone angry. I can see Lieutenant Hawkeye's frustration through her straight face, and the rest of us aren't terribly pleased.

It seems like your thoughts and feelings are aligned with mine. To answer your question, I've been keeping busy with work, which ties into these recent police cases. The agency I work for is handling one of them, but something else is bothering me as well. Personal research, for lack of a better term.
As for our newly appointed leader...I can't say that I think fondly of him.
You have a good grasp on morals, Meta Knight. May I ask you a question?
((OOC: strikes readable to Meta Knight only.))

Of course you may.

For now, I suppose I will have to nod and agree, even if I don't.
Let's say we have a situation where two people are having a conversation. One of the people involved taunts and continuously challenges a much stronger person. The person knows this risk beforehand, but carries on anyways. Angered, the opposite retaliates with actions instead of words.
Who has committed the worst sin? The sharp-tongued lady? Or her forceful competitor? Or have both committed intolerable actions?

Your sharp-tongued lady brought this upon herself. It is inadvisable for anyone to retaliate against someone who is merely irritating and insulting, but nevertheless it is common knowledge that people do this anyway. In conclusion, the worse crime is that of the attacker, but the most blame falls on the one who incurred it. This is my belief.

You speak wisely, my friend. I knew that I could come to you and receive a suitable answer. The situation I just described actually took place here, and is a case that you've probably heard of by now. I personally see both parties as being guilty, but the attacker obviously overstepped her boundaries.

No, I'm afraid I haven't heard of this -- unless you're referring to Ophelia and Anita. I wasn't sure about the background of the case, only that I am going with the Special Forces group to retrieve her.

That is what I'm referring to, actually. I can fill you in on the background, but there's not much to say. The Network is where I managed to pull my information, along with idle chats with Ophelia herself. She is dangerous, Meta Knight, so be on your guard.

Tell me what you know. Who is this Ophelia, aside from Anita's killer?
I am always watchful -- thank you for your concern.

It's no trouble at all. I consider us to be allies, and thus, I wish to help you out as much as I can.

...She sounds like me.
