It's been a while since the last update and I'm sure NONE of you would like to know what's been going on in my crazy yet mundane life. Ok I wouldn't use mundane but you get the idea. Last week was rather interesting as MANY of my friends know this is something you wouldn't EXPECT me to do. I actually went out on a date. (Waits for dramatic effects and screams and gasps from people before continuing on) Yes, it's true. I Shane Jones...actually hung out with a woman, and a cute woman at that! Let me begin. It all began 3 weeks ago. My friend Tara (Yes I do have friends that are GIRLS that I can actually SEE and poke and such) was at work (She works at Wal-Mart) and I hadn't seen her in a while. Levi was with me at the time and we began joking around. (Which I'm pretty natural at) so after a few moments she goes, we need to hang out sometime! Totally out of the blue. So I agree to such a thing and realize a bit later that was her way of saying, we should go out sometime. Mind you I'm not thinking about it that way but you get the picture. Her face just lights up when she sees me like I brighten her day or something XD It's kinda silly but seriously it does. She said she was going to be gone for a week and honestly the whole week I kinda thought about her here and there. Most likely because we're friends and I was wondering if she was having fun, so Last Thursday I get a txt msg from her that she's back in town and she's changed her number. So I txt her back a few times and joke with her. My bro Skaggs tells me I should go see X3 with him and a BIG group of people. Of course considering I work early the next morning I didn't really want to go. As the night went on, however, I thought about the fact that I had previously invited Tara who didn't really feel like going, but I had made an error and had told her it would be TOMORROW at midnight (Meaning the day after) not THAT night. So I went back and talked to her and she was excited and did want to go (Took a LITTLE convincing but she agreed) So that night we went to X3 and I had a GREAT time. It was so much fun and I really felt at ease around her. More so than I can say as of late. After the movie we just chilled in the parking lot for over an hour and just...talked. It was incredible and felt so natural. In fact we were the last people to leave the lot that night (left around 3:15am) So when she gets sometime off I'm going to have to hang out with her, and just enjoy life. Of course there are other people I like :P Let's be honest about that, but that's the first real move I've made in...AGES.
Nothing much else has been going on aside from that, I'm still working hard at Bresnan, and I'm REALLY trying to work my business for financial freedom. I totally believe in it and it's really helped my confidence ^^. I still play RO (Albiet not as much as I used to XD which is good) and I'm still playing softball :P We have a game tonight so I'm excited about that XD. SeeYa!
