i gave my shift away for a day of tori amos, vanilla ciggs and some chai. :) i don't like live tori tracks. i don't like the echoes..or the screaming fans who were far too close to the recording device. today i'm going to make moriah a card with my naked body on it. heh..she starts her new job monday...we won't be seeing so much of eachother. i've been giving a lot of my shifts away so i can get losta time in with her. after monday i'll probably start taking more overtime when available. she is worried that it will make our relationship a bit rocky, but i think if we just keep doing what we're doing..we will be just fine. i hope love is what keeps people together..but i'm use to working really hard to make a relationship work it's finest magic. it seems we haven't had to work very hard though..maybe that will change..maybe not. i don't know. but if it does..i'm willing to use an excess of elbow grease. she said something a bit heartbreaking the other day..she was upset because she's afraid she isn't making me happy. i don't know what it is that makes it seem like she doesn't make me happy. so i don't know what it is that i need to change. i suppose i have time to figure it out. maybe i'll use this day to figure it out. it could be my mood swings. but she knows as well as i...i can't help those as much as i try. what matters is that we love eachother so we'll try our best to balance on the shakiest rocks. i believe in us..maybe that's all we really need. :)
on a lighter note...our landlord finally fixed the lock on the front door. we can enter and exit the front door whenever we want. lol..how funny is that. our rent will be going down...or it better or someone is going to court. as well as we will be refunded soon for paying $800 a month to have a house with a jacuuzi that we have not been able to use since we moved in on december 15th. they said the rent was high because of the jacuuzi. well we have NEVER been it in because a pipe was busted. the landlord finally looked at it and found that the motor is rusted. it would cost a fotune to fix. so he just wants to take it out. that is fine with me as long as the rent decreases at least to $600. i think that sounds about right. and we should be refunded $1200, $200 for 6 months. that sounds about right too. and if the landlord doesn't agree i think i will have a judge tell his opinion. we have been great tenants. never one complaint from neighbors or anything. the only problem we have is finding time to care for the yard. in which we have done before. moriah and i spent a whole day weeding and mulching. we all work crazy hours so it is hard. unless we do it at like 10pm. i don't think so. i will probably be weeding later on today so he shuts up about it. he told jason to cut down a tree out front cause that is the only way it will grow back looking nice. or he would hire someone to do it and in turn charge us. BULLSHIT. that damn tree looked like that when we moved in. and the amount of snow we had this winter will do that to nature. i think he is doing this because he just thinks we are stuid kids and he can get away with whatever he wants. well think again buddy. i'm quite stubborn and i know a thing or two about a thing or two. plus i have a smart dad who will help me out with a bad landlord.
