"Hearing your mother yell 'noob!' at your father over a game of poker, completely sincerely, is an intensely painful experience.
I don't recommend it."
Context is wondering just what hand came up at that moment.

I could imagine the conversation going something like this:
"You called on two pair? God, you suck!"
"Hey, you're the one stacking the deck, cheater! Hax! Hax!"

God I would love it if my family were like that! I have all these internet meme sayings and shit going through my head and NO ONE GETS IT.
Having to explain them and then having my mom awkwardly use them at the wrong time in an attempt to connect with me just doesn't cut it. :(

I tried to explain "n00b" to my parents once.
Or rather, they asked what it was, I hesitated a split second, then giggled and shouted "n00bs!" before running out of the room.

My boyfriend and I (in our twenties) had an unfortunate phase of replying with "your moms so..." to whatever the previous sentence was.
I still love it when occasionally I will say something, and my dear mum will respond with "your mothers so..."

Is it bad I feel the need to say "I'm awesome with your mom!"?
