Nice.

Now I want to see the two or three Republicans on MQ bring up that Democrats get lobby money just as well & just as grossly, that President Clinton misused the power of his various political offices to coerce dumb & often ugly women into sex acts, and that the empty promises made to gay & gay-friendly voters became the "Don't ask, don't tell" legislation which caused more problems than existed before the "Get in the Closet, soldier!" nonsense.

To be truly fair & balanced, I think it's safe to say that the donkeys are as bad as the elephants once they get to a certain level of power. Power corrupts, period. No matter the party line...

While all poor Dubya did was start a war and cause the deaths of thousands upon thousands of people. Oh, and spy on us. And also make it so he can imprison you for no reason, for as long as he wants.

All Bill wanted was a blowjob.

It's easy to say he just wanted some head, but in the Paula Jones case she filed for sexual harrassment. Of course her case got derailed & the media made her look like a harpy, but what if she was in fact harrassed and like so many cases of sexual crimes, the victim becomes the guilty? As for Lewinsky, it's easy to see after the Starr report and various interviews with Monica herself, that she was a bit of a starstruck dumb kid who saw her crush actualized.

I'm in no way excusing the Bush Administration. They should ALL be tried for grand treason. I'm just tired of the smug "Democrats are right" propaganda.

It's politics, nobody's right. I think everybody (including myself) should just have a constant reminder of that taped to their foreheads. Keeps us from getting into discussions that frustrate everybody while we're not in fact disagreeing.

And after he got it, he bombed the shit out of things every time Monica went into court. Let's not play Dueling Presidents, okay? It's indicative of as much backwoods thinking as Dueling Banjos is.

Since one of the things he tried to bomb the shit out of was Osama bin Ladin and the other was an al Qaeda facility, I'm actually OK with that now. To think I actually believed the Republican spin that he was trying to "wag the dog," and that killing bin Ladin and al Qaeda wasn't protecting America. What a trusting dupe I was.

As one of the Libertarians on MQ, hellyeahs.(Except I don't think they were ugly or dumb women.)

It's why I vote third party every chance I can. It's sad- so many people see it as wasting a vote, but if that's the prevailing attitude, we're never going to break the us-vs-them mentality that arises with only two political parties, and it'll always be a power struggle, not a cooperative effort to govern well.

I'm a Libertarian as well. When I call Monica dumb, much of that can be excused as naivete and her youth. Paula Jones, however, was rather frightful looking, if any of the images I ever saw matter in the aesthetics-assesment.

It saddens me that there are so few things on the ballot offering Libertarian, Green Party or even just "Independent" candidates offering a "third choice". Why limit it to just chocolate & vanilla, when strawberry, coffee and toffee almond chip are viable?

The longer I've been voting, the more similar Democrats & Republicans seem.

Well, I don't think many people are ugly. A little overblown, sure. Actually, I thought Monica was very pretty and perky and if she ever came to my house, I might get a little girly crush on her- she reminds me of Francine from Strangers in Paradise a lot.

I'm as guilty as the next person for using aesthetics as a judging agent. Jones struck me as a very unattractive person, but it might just be a matter of tastes. Apparently, many in the media played on her high-strung volatility as a defense of Clinton, but when I saw the flawed appearance & the ferocity with which Jones launched her case, I wondered more why nobody believed her... especially women.

Monica was adorable. She was cute, curvy, perky & peppy... but gullible, vulnerable & easily used. I hope she can move past the scandal, find her niche in life, and no longer be a puppet in political games.

The President of the US of A could only get the Stay Puft Marshmallow Woman and a Buffy Vamp-faced girl? Lord, what a loser.

The thing that gets me when people talk about wasting votes when we vote third party is the fact that none of them realize that our parties are still fairly new. Good lord, the Republican party wasn't started until just before our Civil War. And a Republican president was elected in the following election. Not much for wasting votes, I'd say. (Even if Lincoln didn't get the majority of the votes.)

Why are people so afraid to break out of tradition and actually change things?

Apparently it's okay to coerce attractive, intelligent women. Or are only dumb, ugly women susceptible to coercion? Sheesh.
