BILL MAHER GOT UPSET WHEN LATE NIGHT HOST CRAIG FERGUSON JOKED ABOUT BEING
CONTROLLED BY THE DEMOCRAT PARTY - ESPECIALLY SINCE THE AUDIENCE LAUGHED

Ferguson, who unlike most comedians (except Jay Leno of late) doesn't usually play favorites and sticks it to everyone was commenting about Maher's question about doing standup in addition to his normal gig.

It went like this:

Ferguson: "I’m impressed. You still go out and do the standup. You still do your thing.”

Maher: “Do you?”

Ferguson: “Yeah, all the time. You have to get a sense of autonomy from the, from the, you know, the Borg that controls you - in my case CBS, in your case the Democratic Party.”

Poor Bill didn't think that was funny ... or "accurate"

Which throws out the excuse people like Maher and Jon Stewart use when they say something outrageous, stupid or uninformed - you know - the "I'm just a comedian" excuse.

Suddenly, when it's a thin-skinned liberal being made fun of, humor is supposed to be technically "accurate"? We have to stop people from laughing and explain to them why they are reacting incorrectly? We have to have humor police now?

But still - in "fairness" to stupid liberal comedians everywhere I've decided to institute "ACCULAUGH" - a non profit organization dedicated to determining if jokes are accurate AND funny (or not)).

In this case I award Ferguson's joke 4 "Billies" out of 5 on the old AccuLaugh meter.

Technically, Maher is not "controlled" by the Party - he is simply a shill and useful idiot. And he does so enthusiastically and willingly.

However, the joke was FUNNY because, despite being hyperbole, it struck a chord as evidence by Maher's reaction. If Ferguson had said Maher was controlled by the Catholic Church or the NRA, people would have said, "Huh"?"

But a bunch of like-minded left-wing Democrats?

You see ... truth IS funnier than fiction - and therefore infinitely more accurate.

And it stings.
