HOW REVEALING THE PEOPLE WHO DEPRIVE OTHERS OF THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS
ARE SO QUICK TO RUN TO THE CONSTITUTION TO PROTECT THEIR OWN
They ain't talkin'.

What a circus of clowns we are witnessing with this IRS scandal. After having already been caught in a series of lies, contradictions and misstatements - that continue on a daily basis - it's probably better for them that they clam up now.

As reported yesterday, Lois Lerner stood behind her Constitutional right not to incriminate herself but, before doing so, gave a little speech in which, like a good liberal, she basically 'redefined" what pleading the 5th is.

You see, Ms. Lerner declared she was "innocent" and was taking the fifth amendment to "protect" other innocent people. That's not what the fifth is for. It's for protecting Ms. Lerner from incriminating HERSELF by lying - whether she might be guilty or not - or by saying something that reveals that she guilty.

She "testifies" she is innocent and then refuses to "testify".

Ever notice how these people always appear angry and arrogant? And Ms. Lerner is no exception, having a history of being hostile to conservatives and especially "religious" groups.

Look at her:

But ... she's a liberal. She's part of the Obama administration. She (for now) gets a pass. She gets to just stand up and leave after a couple of timid questions. That's a very bad omen - despite the caveat that she is "subject to recall". Do you THINK a Democrat chairman questioning someone he or she wanted to skewer would let that stand without a virtual barrage of tough questions, feigned outrage and over-the-top theatrics to be endlessly looped in the mainstream media in order to condemn that person in the public arena?

Again, isn't it ironic ... they attack the First Amendment, the Second, the Fourth, and so on ... but they hide behind the Fifth. Too bad (as I predicted) it had to take the media seeing THEIR OWN rights under assault by the Obama administration to suddenly become concerned about the Bill of Rights.

So ironic ... and so typical of an out-of-control government controlled by an elitist ruling class.

OH, and an UPDATE on the Congress demand that the IRS turn over communications with the White House ... the deadline has come and no response from the IRS.

And so it goes ... on and on.
