How the Media Were Hoping Against Hope It Wasn't So

Of course the media are now predictably consumed with the question of, not what these brothers believed, but how and why they were "radicalized". I'm sure there will be all kinds of questions about how they got their weapons too. And, unlike the case had this indeed been "right wing extremists", assurances that these actions are not generally representative of larger groups of people.
In addition, since liberals "never let a crisis go to waste" I'm sure this will be a great opportunity to open our borders even further, legalize everyone here illegally, open the prisons again, and push policies to take away guns and bullets from law-abiding citizens.
