ADD NPR RADIO TO LIST OF GLOATING LIBERALS WHO THINK 18,500 HOSTESS EMPLOYEES LOSING THEIR JOBS ARE FUNNY
You know ... schaudenfraude ... a German word meaning to take pleasure in the misfortune of others.
But then liberals are always poor winners as well as losers, aren't they?
Case in point is the destruction of an iconic company bringing tasty treats and baked items to generations of Americans young and old and liberals, in the euphoria of a troubling victory for the most disastrous president in U.S. history by a 51-49% ratio are just hysterical about Hostess Incorporated having to close it's oven doors after years of union demands.
First it was ABC on Good Morning America and in the latest case it's the snobs at National Public Radio (NPR) on Wait Wait Don't Tell me.
Actually, if anyone should have a sense of schaudenfraude it's the people who warned what was coming under another Obama presidency as a result of his policies and the conga line of special interests which helped put him back in office.
So now the very people who supported him are going to start feeling the effects of who he is and what he wants, although everyone else will have to feel the pain too.
Still, it's rather ironic that these people have bitten their noses to spite their faces.
Oh well, more people to populate the unemployment class (what is it now, 99 weeks?) and get their food stamps and other free stuff.
Meanwhile, no more Twinkies, Ding-Dongs, Suzy Q's and even Wonder Bread to remind us of simpler more pleasant times.
And the elitist taxpayer-subsidized snobs on NPR and other venues of the left think that's funny.
Wait until they're suffering from one of their dope-induced Twinkie cravings and freaking out because they're gone ... gone ... gone. I can see them furiously scratching their itches now while the food police advise them this is all for their own good.
Now THAT's going to be schaudenfraude.
Gee ... I wonder how many fascists it takes to make a Twinkie? And how soon they'll be blaming George Bush (or Mitt Romney) if there is a backlash?
Hey ... like moms all over America used to say, "When you lie down with dogs you get fleas."
And remember ... that's schaudenfraude, and don't be afraid to tell it like it is.
