After almost two weeks of lies and misinformation from the Obama administration about security at U.S. embassies and consulates, after repeated denials that the recent "protests" were laughably NOT aimed at America and NOT planned acts of terror, after one flimsy part of the official narrative after another collapses under the preposterous weight of what is so obviously a cover-up, CNN DARED to report the truth about murdered Libyan ambassador Chris Stevens' fear at being a target of violent extremism in 7 pages of diary entries all reportedly colloborated by people who knew him.
So what do his entries say about the real reason why he was in Benghazi in the first place? Does CNN know that?
Predictably, CNN, the normally in-the-tank for Obama cable "news" outlet, is being blasted by the State Department and the Obama administration for betraying a trust.
Meanwhile, as I scan one news show after another, I see virtually nothing on the scandal that is the crisis in the Middle East and across the world but a deluge of punditry about a few seconds of something Mitt Romney said about the futility of appealing to people who pay no taxes with promises of tax cuts ... and how the presidential election might just as well be cancelled as Romney is toast ... and all this by literally misquoting what he actually said and why.
Contrast that with the "You didn't build that" quote from Pres. Obama which WAS reported in context with everything he said before and after that showed it was even worse than it sounded and the media are STILL trying to spin that and convince people he didn't say what he was so clearly saying.
THIS is illustrative of the awful stench of that lumbering corpse that is journalism today and how hell-bent it is to impose its will on anyone that crosses its path.
Barack Obama's lack of interest in protecting America against her "actual" enemies and his (and the sycophants in his adoring media) constant instinct to take the side of people from outside these borders is appaling.
And therefore we are bombarded with hours and hours of reporting and commentary about a single comment (from what the source has ADMITTED is a 'doctored" tape) because it helps the side the liberal media are supporting.
And all the while, being so absolutely confident he'll be covered, Obama is cavorting all over the place, laughing and joking with celebrities, singers, talk show hosts, dee-jays, last week on Letterman this week on The View while his speechwriters prepare another "historic speech" to read before the U.N., and no one in the media cares.
And their side don't care either ... because, you see, they want to win ... and by any means necessary ... optics, truth, facts, and freedom be damed.
