WILL MEDIA BE FORCED TO REPORT OBAMA’S USE OF EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE
IN SCANDAL THE MEDIA HAS VIRTUALLY REFUSED TO COVER UNTIL NOW?
In almost 18 months NBC had not reported ONE STORY on Fast and Furious, Obama’s gunwalking program to Mexican drug cartels which resulted in an American border agent being killed along with hundreds of innocent Mexicans.
Congress has been trying to get to the bottom of things, but the Attorney General, who initially claimed he was clueless about anything, that he’d never heard of the scheme, has been stonewalling and has refused to give documents to Congress they need to conduct their investigation.
Imagine the coverage had this happened during the “previous administration” when the media were happy to spend months if not years persecuting Bush administration officials for issues that pale in comparison to only a small percentage of the scandals that consume this one.
Now networks like NBCmanufacturing stories by clever editing of tapes (making George Zimmerman look like a racist and Mitt Romney, just recently, seem clueless and out of touch), and excellent in circling the wagons and defending “their guys” by defending them openly or (even worse) by hiding facts and not reporting stories.
Fast and Furious>
The mind-boggling national security leaks.
Solyndra and the avalanche of bogus “green energy” scandals.
The true radical nature of the “Occupy” movement.
Thank God for citizen journalists and the few liberal but increasingly embarrassed “journalists” who are getting tired of being painted with the same brush of ridicule being applied to the worst offenders in the mainstream media.
They are worried “their guy” might not be re-elected … but they are also worried that any shred of credibility they have left is being ripped away by “reporters” like Andrea Mitchell and news outlets like NBC.
In fact, NBC and MSNBC are only the poster children for the new “on steroids” prototype of media bias, but all of the liberal media are guilty to a great degree.
They all have a reason to be worried.
