I WANTED TO ASK ... 'AM I ON CANDID CAMERA?"
I felt like I was in one of those competitors' of McDonald's commercials where the guy looks down and sees he's unwrapped this tiny burger.
While running some errands I stopped at the Golden Arches to get a Fish combo.
I popped open the carton after sitting down and there before me what seemed to be a miniature fish sandwich. I mean it looked like something from my niece's toy kitchen set.
Six dollars and thirty something cents. And no, it wasn't a kids meal. I asked.
It wasn't too bad and the fries were okay and the diet coke wasn't flat and I guess it'll hold me for a few hours but, for almost $7 I could have eaten all I want at the Chinese buffet ... which I hate to do because I'd rather not be a pig ... especially on Good Friday.
Oh, well ... maybe we can fire MObama and the food police squad this November. At least I hope so.
Hmmmm ... it's after 4. I wonder what I'll fix for dinner?
I know. Shrimp and garlic pasta. Want to join me?
Now where did I put those chedar cheese crackers?
