OF THE SUPREME COURT ARGUMENTS ON OBAMACARE MANDATES
Of course it ain’t over until the fat lady sings but even liberals are starting to believe that massive healthcare bill slammed down the throats of the American people 2 years ago may indeed be …. unconstitutional.

Toobin once predicted it’d be a slam dunk … I guess he only read the talking points.
I mean … even OBAMA vehemently argued against the mandate to buy health insurance. Remember? I’ve reported this for YEARS!

One of the highlights, so far, has been Obama’s former Solicitor General, Elena Kagen, now a SC Justice, reminding the NEW Solicitor General that ObamaCare is NOT a tax (they keep going back and forth).
Funny stuff. Except it's a disgrace that this Justice, who was a cheerleader and defender of ObamaCare while Obama's Solicitor General, didn't recuse herself from the deliberations.
It's interesting that the four liberal Justices are deemed to be "locks" while the five who actually interpret the Constitution as is, not what they think it should be, are looked upon as targets to be convinced they should allow the law to stand.
I don’t want to get too hopeful but at least the issues we have been discussing for over three years now are being dissected in a proper and professional setting.
The "necessary and proper" clause the "intersate commerce" clause should both be blown out of the water as they were in no way designed to allow the kind of massive federal government expansion of power the rest of the Constitution limits.
We’ll see what happens.
