that old ‘class warfare’ and ‘redistribution of wealth’ mantra

OBAMA’S BEEN SINGING THAT SAME OLD TUNE FOR SOME TIME …
FROM HIS POST COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION DAYS IN 1995
Just before Obama sued to gain his first elective state office by having his opponents removed from the ballot on technicalities and running unopposed, Obama told the Hyde Park Citizen:

“In an environment of scarcity, where the cost of living is rising, folks begin to get angry and bitter and look for scapegoats. Historically, instead of looking at the top 5% of this country that controls all the wealth, we turn towards each other, and the Republicans have added to the fire.”

In the interview, Obama explains that his perspective on the “top 5%” was shaped by his experiences abroad:

“It's about power. My travels made me sensitive to the plight of those without power and the issues of class and inequalities as it relates to wealth and power. Anytime you have been overseas in these so-called third world countries, one thing you see is the vast disparity of wealth of those who are part of power structure and those outside of it.” - Barack Obama - Hyde Park Citizen, circa December, 1995*

Kind of remind you of his “bitter clingers who hang on to their guns and religion and have antipathy …” quote?

You see, to Obama and those of his ilk, it’s just not “fair” that some people excel and thus the need to grab “power” to even things out.

Whether you have the authority or not.

Just as telling was the answer he gave to Charles Gibson at one of the Democrat presidential debates in 2008 … after Gibson corrected him about increasing Capital Gains taxes.

Gibson noted that lower taxes historically result in greater revenues.

Obama replied that it was not a matter of revenue, but fairness.

The “rich” (at least those who don’t support him) must be punished.

They don’t deserve what they have and the government must take it away from them even if it hurts those who need help.

Ahhhh … the ravings of the ideologue and mastermind.

How clear do we see today the consequences of granting them the power they don’t deserve.
