THE GOVERNOR OF MY STATE HAS BEEN FIGHTING AGAINST THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN AN EFFORT TO PREVENT AS MUCH DAMAGE FROM THE OIL-SPILL AS POSSIBLE
It's almost as if this administration doesn't want the people of this State, its leadership, the people who know how to tackle problems to be successful ... to look too good.
It's almost as though it has been dithering purposely to extract as much political clout over the oil companies as possible to advance its agenda.
You don't think that could be possible ... do you? That someone would sacrifice or endanger the lives, land, and culture of the people of the Gulf Coast to advance a political agenda?
From the first days of this catastrophe, we have one obstacle after another put in front of us to protect our coastline, beaches, and marshes. Obama, despite the current talking points attempting to discredit the facts, refused help from countries expert on oil-spill removal like Norway, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Now, after this dismal dithering for nearly 2 months, the Obama administration is currently involved in a concerted effort to deflect criticism away from its own failures. It has left us exposed and vulnerable to the point that Gov. Jindal has had to go off on his own, skipping the bureaucratic nightmare that is the federal government and ordering actions and measures he knows will help protect our coasts to a substantial degree.
He is acting like a leader, but the Obama administration has no love for anyone, especially potential opponents, who exhibit leadership qualities.
It was therefore no surprise when I discovered that 16 crude-sucking barges that had been removing thousands of barrels of oil off the coast up to two days ago were SHUT DOWN by the Coast Guard while they determined if they had enough life preservers and fire extinguishers.
Hear that big sucking sound? No? Obama's Coast Guard Stopped it! That's why!
As I said, it has been like this since the first week of the oilspill, with no one seeming to know who's in charge, different people giving different answers, and the President dithering as he jets here and there for fundraising, attacking the State of Arizona, hosting concerts, doing photo-ops, running show trials, and playing on the golf course.
Oh, I heard today that Obama and Biden will be conducting a "summer of recovery" propaganda tour, spending millions and millions to convince you and me how swimmingly things are going along.
Well, I suppose as long as you're gainfully employed or subsidized by people who are all of this doesn't really matter all that much.
Well, remember - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
