NINE DAYS AGO, AN OIL RIG MYSTERIOUSLY EXPLODED IN THE GULF OF MEXICO KILLING SEVERAL WORKERS AND SPILLING THOUSANDS OF BARRELS OF OIL INTO THE GULF
It took Barack Obama EIGHT DAYS to respond.

Another "Katrina Movement"?

A "Colossal failure of leadership?"

What would you expect from the "Ditherer in Chief"? Thank goodness he has a protective media.

Huh? What do I mean?

Heard any stories about Haiti lately? Or the tornado victims in Missouri? Or the people who suffered from flooding and snowstorms in the Northeast?

Yep, after 8 days of dithering, Obama finally sprang into action ... and how the media swooned!

Yesterday he ordered Swat Teams to the Gulf and today is sending teams of lawyers to New Orleans to start litigating (if necessary).

Just in time for the Jazz and Heritage Festival!

I'm guessing they won't be bringing buckets, detergent, wash rags and brushes.

LAWYERS!!!!

Hey Obama and Holder! Make sure to tell those ambulance chasers to get out of the way and let the people who actually know what to do do their job!!!

But don't worry! The media, which excoriated President Bush for not telling then Louisiana "Dithering" Democrat Governor Kathleen Blanco to go to blazes and order Federal help in immediately (it took about 72 hours) will give Obama a pass.

And anyone who asks questions on Obama's slowness to do his job (he was, after all, when he wasn't out hiking in the woods, busy demonizing the people of Arizona and his pals on Wall Street) will be castigated as well.

Not that they'll do that because, as we all know, the media get their talking points from people like Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod and anyone who strays from the script gets, at the least a series of blistering phone calls or a call onto the carpet, or at worse cut off from future interviews and cocktail parties.

Meanwhile, the first of the oil spill is reaching my State's coastline (Louisiana) and reportedly heading for the Florida panhandle.

Eight days!

But what an opportunity for the left.

Of course they'll blame Bush and Cheney.

And have more show trials in Congress.

And demand more government.
