What? You thought he said you could keep your own health insurance policy if you so chose? Well, you can if your employer wants to pay more.
You say that your employer won't be able to pay for your insurance AND another 40% in taxes on it?
You took a lower salary to get better insurance, or you're paying for it yourself, and you don't know where you'll get another 40% to pay to the government?
You thought insurance policies were supposed to get less expensive? You don't think it's fair? And guess what! MARRIED couples will be paying MORE!
Oh, my! I guess you weren't paying attention very well, were you?
Don't worry. Pretty soon the government will confiscate so much of our income and property health coverage will be "free."
Of course you'll have to stand in line, and I hope you're healthy and between the ages of 15 and 40. Otherwise, you won't be of much value to the government and there just might not be enough health care to go around.
