SO JOE KLEIN IS WRITING AN ARTICLE FOR 'TIME' CONCERNING BARACK OBAMA'S THESIS AT COLUMBIA ABOUT 'REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH' AND THE FLAWS IN CONSTITUTION?
Kind of late, huh?

Actually, I haven't been able to confirm that this is true BUT ... haven't we been aware (at least the people who read these posts) of that for the last 18 months?

Remember my talking about how Obama complained that our Constitution was too restrictive in allowing the federal government to do MORE? That it was FLAWED?

According to a blogger I won't identify until the story is confirmed, Klein was allowed to see 10 pages of Obama's thesis, Aristocracy Reborn, in which he wrote:

… the Constitution allows for many things, but what it does not allow is the most revealing. The so-called Founders did not allow for economic freedom. While political freedom is supposedly a cornerstone of the document, the distribution of wealth is not even mentioned. While many believed that the new Constitution gave them liberty, it instead fitted them with the shackles of hypocrisy.

If he was only "shown" ten pages, I have some doubts as to whether the Klein story has legs.

However, whether the thesis story is correct or not, the fact is that we know that this is what Obama believes ... because we heard it in his own recorded voice.

And if the story is true, I wonder why Joe Klein sat on it so soon. Maybe someone will ask.

Aren't you glad you can still get the truth ... if you want to find it?
