A group of retirees had been attempting to speak to their Senator, Dianne Feinstein, in East LA.

"What, are you kicking us out because we're 'old people in America'? Because we're 'legal citizens'?" a male octogenarian shouted while joining a group of mail retirees being frisked against a brick wall outside where they had been lured by police.
Asked for his reaction to video of the group being loaded hand-cuffed into a police van, President Obama shook his head, laughed and said, "These old coots acted ... stupidly! Didn't I tell you guys they needed to take their meds? But hey, it's California, right?"
The White House press corps convulsed in laughter.
The case will be referred to Obama's behavioral science czar for evaluation.
