updating
My laptop is on the internet for the first time. We managed to hook it up through the cable modem. But the wireless we had hoped to have installed didn't work out. Brighthouse doesn't have the technology to support wireless for two macs (although they didn't find it necessary to tell us that when we called and made the appoint ment a week ago), So we're getting an airport extreme device and my mom's computer is a getting a system upgrade and hopefully after that everything will work out. Although I've been warned that the airport doesn't work with Brighthouse unless you sign up for some plan. We'll see. Hopefully in two weeks I'll be wireless. For now, if I need to I know how to get on the net. And I've been able to set up my account and everything on my laptop.
I'm getting nervous about Boston coming up. I have to send out my manuscripts this weekend at some point. I've been bad about that, I admit.
There's just so much on my mind right now I don't want to think about any of it.
