Office Cleaning
I finally cleaned the office today... I haven't been spending much time in this room over the last couple of months because after work, I don't want to be on the computer. While the rest of the apartment is clean, it's like this room just becomes a dumping ground for anything and everything that has to do with electronics-- and we have a lot of electronics. Since my husband is out of town this weekend, I thought I should probably do something about it.
↑ I unearthed a lot of headphones... I know I have at least three additional pairs not pictured here. lol. orz.
↑ It's like a walk down memory lane. All that's missing is the old round dial phone and the big square 90's phone with the outrageously long cord. I'm amused how they seem to go from large to small back to large again, the last one in line being my current phone. e_e
↑ This is what the office looked like after I had started. It originally actually wasn't quite this bad, but I made a huge mess pulling everything out and throwing it all over the place so I could sort the chaos. Those two blue duffel bags? Both stuffed with games, discs, cords, headphones, adapters, etc. This room contains three computers, four monitors, two tablets, two scanners, two printers, three graphics cards (not including the ones currently installed in machines)... I'll just stop there.
↑ My desk, same "progress" step as above. The little string tied around my chair was one of those pull-string firecrackers. My husband likes to booby-trap my frequent stops around the apartment. As it turned out, when I set this one off, it didn't scare me, I just heard the crack and thought I'd broken my chair. -_- I know I need a new desk, but I plan to get an enormous, massive one, so we're waiting until we buy a house to take care of that to save ourselves the trouble of moving it.
↑ Next stage. Some of the clutter is gone, but the difference probably isn't all that noticeable. However, there's a bonus in this one! Find the kitty. :D
↑ Crap officially gone. White kitty replaced by black kitty. It's like magic.
↑ Same stage as above, other corner. For some reason the cats like to climb my chair, but not my husband's. Hence all the little holes in the leather. :(
↑ Rearranging... I need to sit in front of the window. There was some bizarre camera effect here, I think the reflection from the glass desktop appeared in the lens or something. Odd...
↑ Finished! :D ...Though I'm still suffering from Cord Apocalypse. :(
↑ Clearly this starkers wall still leaves much to be desired. TOO BAD THOSE OLLY MOSS STAR WARS POSTERS I WANTED SO BAD SOLD OUT IN LIKE, THIRTY SECONDS.
...Maybe I should get some wall racks and empty the gun safe onto my office wall like this crazy.
