(no subject)
I haven't gotten barely any sleep at all ever since the attacks. My body's demanding I get some rest, but my Auror training that I've had drilled in my head for two years refuses to let me sleep. I'm worried something bad might happen if I doze off, so I've been wandering around the castle. I've got circles under my eyes now too, and no matter how much I try to change my appearance, it won't let me. I guess when it comes to bodily functions, my special talent won't work.
Remus and I had a nice conversation, although I'm really embarrassed that I broke down like that in front of him. But then, I suppose it's all right. We're together now, and so we can be honest like this with each other.
I really cannot wait until we can take our holiday to my parents' cottage. According to my mum's last owl, she has gotten everything ready for us. The only thing she requested is that Remus and myself come over for dinner beforehand. Oh god. This should be interesting. I know she means well and that she loves me terribly, but her and dad...well. I wouldn't put it past them to ask if they could be expecting any grandchildren anytime soon. Oh boy.
Remmy (I hope you don't mind me calling you that...), I got an owl from my mum yesterday. Good news, too! She told me she has the cottage in Germany all ready for us. Only....I hope this is all right with you, but she wanted to know if you and I would fancy going to eat dinner at my parents' home before we leave. Let me know what you think about it....I don't know if you remember my mother at all, but...she has always spoken kind words about you, so you do not need to fear of prejudice with them.
I should warn you though...my parents are highly affectionate with one another. So if you see them making any innuendos of any sort, or anything like that, please forgive them. Also, please disregard any questions they may have concerning us as far as intimacy goes...they're quite eccentric.
