This is a really moving scene, and you've captured it so well, with all the little details (like the scratch marks) telling the story. I really like how stark it is, in a way, that there's very little detail in the background to deract from the emotion - it really draws you in to them.

Tonks' expression really makes the piece, I think - you've really captured how I'd imangined she'd feel seeing him after the full moon, and the way she's almost looking out at us makes us complicit, I think, feel what she feels.

Really great stuff.

Thank you so much. I'm pleased that you think the picture works, and that you have caught on to so many of the things I tried to do with it. I really intended it to be stark, minimalistic and a bit messy in style, because it is not a beautiful moment in their lives, but it is a very poignant one, and as you say it is the emotions that are important.

you've really captured how I'd imagined she'd feel seeing after the full moon Isn't it strange sometimes when people you have never met hold the same images as yourself? I'm happy that the image meant something to you. Mission accomplished! :)

Oh wow. This is stunning. I cannot believe you were able to whip this out in less than a day. WOW.

Everything about it is so emotive -- the clutching of the fabric, the claw marks on the floor, the hand over the mouth...Even the curvy lines, and the shading, conveys the grotesqueness of what he goes through each month in a really poignant way -- and yet it's not Tonks being upset by him, but for him, and I wish Remus could turn his head and see that.

Looking forward to lots more R/T illustrations from you. Amazing work.

Hahaha! Well, those artbunnies bit and hard! As I said elsewhere I would have been sorry not to draw this! Thankfully I didn't have to go to work yesterday and so could work on it without interruption.

Oh I wish he would turn his head too! But he is so tired, and haven't even managed to draw the blanket closer and cover himself before she saw... I'm glad you noticed the details - I was trying to do as little as possible, so as to not draw away from the emotions, so they had to really tell the story. And I don't have words to say how pleased I am you like the shading! Bane of my life that it is!

OMG! This absolutely breathtaking!

And its all about Tonks' expression and hand on her mouth. I see it was she can't believe what she's seeing, and she can't hold back the painful tears.

And the way you drew Remus's body, just lying there after the transformation, all scratched up, its just....HA!

Fantastic job! This just moved me and now I'll go cry...XD

Wow, thank you so much! This picture is about the little details, few though there are, and I'm pleased that they told you the story I was trying to convey.

Tonks is the one who is doing the action in this piece, but Remus... Oh, I feel so sorry for him, because of what he has to go through every month, and I tried to put some of the horror of that into this.

I'm happy this moved you (though I didn't mean to make you cry.. ;))

This is so simple and yet so powerful. Tonks is the one showing all the horror, all that she feels for him, with that hand covering her mouth as though to stifle a cry. I feel as if she's just sunk to her knees next to him because they won't support her. And all Remus' anguish is in that one desperate, clenched hand.

I also feel that if he did turn his head, he'd find her straightened up and trying to smile at him, hiding it all...

This is really excellent. A great take on the prompts. :)

Thank you so much! I was also imagining that when she came in there and found him like that, she was unable to stop from reacting - yet still she would try to keep him unaware of how this affects her, not because she is disgusted, but because she knows he is a proud man after all.

I'm so pleased you saw these things in the drawing! Thank you again.
